The White Christmas star Anne Whitfield has died.

She was 85 years old.

Her sad family said that the veteran actress died in a “unexpected accident” while she was out for a walk near her home in Washington, D.C.

The 1954 holiday classic White Christmas starred Whitfield as Susan Waverly.

Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington, was where she died. Her family was there with her.

“Annie became dedicated to causes that promote peace and protect nature during this time of change.”

Annie worked hard as an activist and community organizer after she “retired,” right up until the day she died.

Annie’s three children and seven grandchildren were the most important things in her life.

“She was beloved by her family, who were always her first priority.” .

The legendary performer, actor, and radio host was born on August 27, 1938, in Oxford, Mississippi.

As a child, Whitfield started acting in radio dramas. While going to UCLA, he continued to act and work on radio shows.

Police have reported that a woman lost her life in a head-on collision on a US highway moments after updating her status and posting selfies on Facebook.

The 32-year-old Courtney Sanford posted the following on her Facebook page at 8:33 on Thursday morning: “The happy song makes me so HAPPY.” Police were contacted about a crash at 8:34 in the morning.

According to the officers, Ms. Sanford was driving alone when her automobile over the center reservation, collided with a recycling truck, and caught fire, causing the other car to be forced off the road.

She was traveling down Interstate 85 in North Carolina on her way to work at the time, and according to the police, there was no indication that her speed, use of drugs, or alcohol had any role in the crash.

The Facebook link wasn’t made public until this past weekend, when Ms. Sanford’s acquaintances reported to the police that several of her online posts seemed to have been made around the same time as the actual incident.

The collision, according to Lt Chris Weisner, a spokesman for the High Point Police Department, was a real-life public service announcement “showing what happens when you text and drive,” according to the WGHP TV station.

Following a 24-day search for Morris, 47, and Charley, 20, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office revealed on Facebook on Sunday that their remains had been found in the vicinity of Beaver Lake’s Lost Bridge Village.

The statement stated, “Sheriff [Shawn] Holloway would like to thank all the men and women who donated their time and efforts to help bring closure to the family and recover the two missing men. We also want to thank the family of Chuck and Charley.”

The Morris family stated separately on their GoFundMe website that Charley’s death was determined to be a drowning. The death of the senior Morris’s cause is still unknown.

Morris played drums for the electronic band Lotus, based in Denver, while Charley attended Ohio Wesleyan University. The two had vanished on March 16 while visiting Beaver Lake with family for spring break. They had not been seen since.

Lotus announced on social media that the search had changed to a recovery effort five days after the two men went missing.

The band stated, “At this point, the search for Chuck and Charley has switched to a recovery. We were all praying for a miracle. “Although we are in a state of profound mourning, we have plans to honor Chuck and Charley’s lives, our memories of them, and the significance they had for so many people. We appreciate everyone who has sent kind words, tales, and financial and emotional assistance.

On April 21 and 22, Lotus intends to honor Morris and his kid with two shows at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. The family will also benefit from upcoming performances in Port Chester, New York, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Tragedies can happen to even the most deserving people because life is full of surprises. This is, unfortunately, one of those times.

Zoe McKinney, a senior in high school who is 17 years old and a cheerleader, went hiking with her friends. The Moab Rim Trail is where McKinney lost her balance and fell about 30 feet.

From what the Moab City Police Department said, McKinney fell off a very steep cliff and left her friends in trouble.

They tried hard to get to her, but it wasn’t safe to do so. The police were told right away, and search and rescue teams, along with fire and EMS, worked nonstop to get to the area above McKinney.

Sad to say, McKinney died in the fall and wasn’t even pronounced dead when she got to the hospital. Search and Rescue had to work for two hours to find her body.

Lloyd Gist, McKinney’s senior boyfriend, was not with her when she died because he was in Salt Lake City living with his family.

He told NBC News that they were very close and couldn’t live without each other. He had fond memories of her as a kind and helpful person who was always ready to help others. For almost a year, they had been together.

McKinney had a strong desire to help others, according to Iryss Mason, one of his close friends. Mason, who spoke to FOX affiliate KSTU, said that McKinney was working on getting her EMT license.

After McKinney’s death, the Grand City School District put out a statement. The district told the family how sorry they were for their loss and promised to help them in any way they could.

The school said that there would be therapists on hand on Monday to help students who are grieving. The school district remembered McKinney as a great student and promised to honor her memory for the rest of her senior year.

Fritz Wepper, who played the lead in CABARET, died at the age of 82.

The German star was best known for her role with Liza Minnelli in the Oscar-winning movie from 1972.

Between 1974 and 1998, Wepper also played Inspector Harry Klein in more than 280 episodes of the popular German crime show Derrick.

In an interview with the German newspaper Bild, his wife, Susanne Kellermann, said that he had died.

She said that Wepper died early Monday morning in a hospice in Munich, where he had been getting care for about a month before passing away after a long illness.

Wepper had been getting palliative care for the five weeks before he died.

You can find Wepper in a production of Peter Pan when he was 11 years old. He was born in Munich in 1995.

In the anti-war film Die Brücke (1959), which won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film, he played a young soldier and got a lot of attention.
