People wondered about the purpose of these 6 things and got unexpected answers

When in doubt, Google it, or even better, turn to the online community and seek your answer there. Nowadays, the pursuit of knowledge is on the tip of our fingers, and the digital world we live in allows us not only to learn plenty of new things but also to connect to different people whom we share similar interests with.

Six people turned to the Internet users and asked from them to help them determine what the objects they stumbled upon might be. As expected, they got their answers in a blink of an eye.

1. Is it junk or something more?

A person was going through the junk drawer and found something that stole his attention. Describing the object as extremely heavy and with no markings, with a very narrow hole on its top, this person was eager to learn what the object, which he named a “scoopy doodad,” was and whether it was something useful or just a piece of junk.

According to the online community, the classic Sunbeam Mixmaster came with a juicer attachment, a bowl that could attach to the top of the mixer and this strange object was the spout the juice would pour out of. The wire part holding a small strainer is there to filter out the pulp.

2. An old cabinet find

An unusual object made entirely of glass with narrow holes throughout its length was found by someone in an old cabinet. They wanted to learn more about it, and luckily, the netizens were there to enlighten this person of their find.

This object happened to be a flower frog, used for holding a flower arrangement in a vase. Have you ever seen something like this before?

3. A heavy glass object

Someone asked fellow Redditors to help him identify the heavy glass object he came across. It came with no markings, and bore a very narrow hole on its top. As always, the members of this site had the answer.

Maybe you didn’t see this coming, but this object turned out to be an oil candle.

4. A mystery object found inside a bedroom drawer

One Reddit users was left puzzled after discovering a strange object inside the bed drawer. Its bottom appeared to be made of suede or soft leather, but they had no idea what it could be.

One user, who turned out to know what the object was shared his knowledge and explained that this is a nail buffer. I would have never guessed it myself.

5. What’s hiding underneath the floorboards?

A silver-colored object resembling an antique scissor of sorts gave one Reddit user a hard time figuring out what it could be. According to them, they found the bizarre thing under the floorboards in an 1800’s era home.

No matter how strange it looks nowadays, it turned out that this object was used a lot in the past and was part of many households as it was used to remove the top of soft-boiled eggs.

6. A baffling hotel room find

While at a hotel room, a guest noticed something that caught his attention enough to ask the Reddit users about it. They spotted a vertical slot inside their bedside table and couldn’t help but wonder what it was for.

As always, Redditors were quick to provide this person with an answer, explaining that this slot was used for storing a tablet or a lap top.

The Little Girl Asks Why Did You And Daddy Get A Divorce

A mother is driving a little girl to her friend’s house for a play date.

“Mommy,” the little girl asks, “How old are you?”

“Honey, you are not supposed to ask a lady her age,” the mother replied. “It’s not polite.”

“OK”, the little girl says, “How much do you weigh?”

“Now really,” the mother says, “Those are personal questions and are really none of your business.”

Undaunted, the little girl asks, “Why did you and Daddy get a divorce?”

“That is enough questions, young lady, honestly!”

The exasperated mother walks away as the two friends begin to play.

“My Mom won’t tell me anything about her,” the little girl says to her friend.

“Well,” says the friend, “All you need to do is look at her drivers license. It is like a report card, it has everything on it.”

Later that night the little girl says to her mother, “I know how old you are, you are 32.”

The mother is surprised and asks, “How did you find that out?”

“I also know that you weigh 140 pounds.”

The mother is past surprised and shocked now.

“How in heaven’s name did you find that out?”

“And,” the little girl says triumphantly, “I also know why you and daddy got a divorce.”

“Oh really?” the mother asks. “Why?”

“Because you got an “F” in ѕєχ

Famous 80s star actress was found dead at four in the morning in an open field

Jennifer Robyn Bernard, an actress who was one of the early stars of General Hospital, died this week.

The role of Terry Brock on General Hospital for about six years in the 1980s was played by Robyn when she died.

TMZ says she was found in San Jacinto, California.

Tuesday, police were called to look into a death, and Robyn’s fingerprints were used to identify her.

The cause of death has not been released, and an autopsy will be done by the Riverside County Coroner on Wednesday.

We’ll know the results of the toxicology test in a few weeks.

She died at 4 a.m. in an open field behind a business, according to a report from the Riverside County Coroner.

Robyn was born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas. Her first role was in the movie Diva in 1981.

Before her big break, she was on Whiz Kids in 1983, The Facts of Life in 1984, and a few other shows.

IMDB says the soap opera actress was in 145 episodes of General Hospital from 1984 to 1990.

In Voices from the High School, which aired in 2002, she played a psychologist.

Crystal Bernard is her younger sister and also an actress. She is 62 years old.

Crystal is famous for playing Helen Chappel-Hackett on Wings, Amy on It’s a Living, and K.C. Cunningham on Happy Days.

Supporters of General Hospital on social media were sad about the death of the beloved star.

Supporters scream
An avid Facebook user said, “General Hospital has had a rough year.” Peace be with you.”

“Young.” Additionally, someone else said, “Her sister Crystal was also a singer and actress.”

With a crying emoji, a third person wrote, “Robyn Bernard, who played Bobbie’s stepdaughter Terry Brock, has died at age 64.”

“The #GH party was full of action with her. “May Robyn Bernard rest in peace,” said a huge fan.

“RIP #RobynBernard, who played #Terry back in the day 84–90,” said a fifth on X, which used to be called Twitter. The O’Connell brothers and her character are very clear in my mind.

“#generalhospital” During this time, Lucy was also introduced, if I remember correctly. My feelings about her are always good.

ANOTHING MORE GH LOSS
General Hospital fans were sad when the famous actress Jacklyn Zeman died in May of last year.

When she died at age 70, the famous soap opera star was remembered as a “icon” by both sad fans and co-stars.

Jacklyn’s family confirmed that she died on May 10, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

The executive producer of General Hospital, Frank Valentini, wrote on Twitter that she had died.

“I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Jackie Zeman,” the touching post continued.

“Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work.”

“We will miss Jackie a lot, but her good mood will live on in our cast and crew forever.”

She had a lot of friends and family, especially her daughters Cassidy and Lacey. We are very sorry for her loss. “GH”

People on the show and her co-stars have also said nice things about the late actress.

Rick Springfield, an Australian actor and musician who played Dr. Noah Drake, told People that he was “incredibly shocked and broken-hearted” to hear about Jackie’s death.

We report the heartbreaking news: Actress Shannen Doherty, known for her roles in Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed, has died at the age of 53.

This is to confirm that Shannen Doherty has died after many years of living with cancer. She was 53 years old.

“With heavy hearts, I have to say that actress Shannen Doherty has died.” Her longtime publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed to PEOPLE on Sunday, July 14, “On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.”

“Her loving family, friends, sister, daughter, and aunt were all around her, along with her dog, Bowie.” “The family wants to be left alone right now so they can grieve in peace,” Sloane said.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star was first told she had breast cancer in 2015. In November 2023, she was honest with PEOPLE about her Stage 4 breast cancer, which had spread to her bones, and said she didn’t “want to die.”

“I still have life to live.” I love you more than ever. I’m still making things. Her words to PEOPLE were, “I’m not done with hopefully making things better.” “I’m not done yet,” she said.
After being diagnosed with cancer in 2015, the actress said in April 2017 that she was no longer sick, but by 2019, the cancer had come back. The next year, Doherty told everyone that she had been diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 cancer. She then told everyone in June 2023 that the cancer had spread to her brain and that she had surgery to remove it.

She wrote on Instagram in June 2023 that the cancer had spread to her brain and that she had surgery five months before to remove a brain tumor she had named Bob.

In August 2023, she told PEOPLE, “He had to be taken out and cut up to see his pathology.” “That was without a doubt one of the scariest things I’ve ever been through.”

Even so, the actress was determined to keep working even though she had the disease.

I think most people think it means you can’t walk, eat, or work. They put you out to pasture when you were very young and told you, “You’re done, you’re retired.” “We’re not retired,” she said, adding, “We’re full of life and have such a different outlook on it.” As a group, we want to work, enjoy life, and keep moving forward.

In fact, Doherty wanted to bring attention to and funds for cancer research before she died. She also wanted to show others that people like her, who had terminal cancer, are still unique and have a lot to offer.

“Why me?’” “Why did my cancer come back?” “When you ask yourself, ‘Why am I in stage 4?’ you start to look for the bigger picture,” she said.

Her honest answers were similar to what she said in an interview with Amy Robach in 2020 that aired on Good Morning America. In that interview, she was also very realistic.
“I definitely have days where I say, ‘Why me?’” It was at that time that Doherty told Robach about the change in her health. “Then I thought, ‘Why not me?’” Who else? Someone else doesn’t deserve this but me. “None of us do.”

In that interview with Robach, Doherty first talked about how her breast cancer had come back as stage 4 after being in remission.

“I’ll be stage 4 in a few days or a week,” she said. She said on Good Morning America, “My cancer came back, which is why I’m here.” “I don’t think I’ve thought about it. In many ways, it’s a bitter pill to swallow.

Doherty became famous as Brenda Walsh on the first season of Beverly Hills, 90210, which started in October 1990. She got praise for being open about having cancer later in life.

She quit the show after the fourth season in 1994. (She later played the role again in a few guest roles on the 2008 reboot of 90210.)

After becoming famous for her role in Beverly Hills, Doherty was cast in Charmed as Prue Halliwell, the witch sister who is the oldest of three. She not only starred in the show, but she also directed a few episodes. She quit at the end of the third season in 2001.

During her career, Doherty worked steadily. She even tried her hand at reality TV with the short-lived show Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty and as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

She agreed to be in the 2019 TV reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210, where she would play the role that made her famous as an adult.

She told the cast that she knew what was wrong with her, but she didn’t tell anyone else until her co-star Luke Perry died suddenly in March 2019 at age 52.

He said on Good Morning America in 2020, “It’s so strange for me to be diagnosed and then someone who seemed healthy to go first.” “It was really, like, shocking.”

The TV reboot, which aired on Fox, was the “least I could do” to honor Perry, according to Doherty. It was also a chance to show that she could keep working despite her health.

“One of the reasons, along with Luke, that I did 90210 and didn’t really tell anybody [was] because I thought, people can look at that [as] people with stage 4 can work too,” she said.

Her fellow actors on the show saw how strong she was, and Brian Austin Green told PEOPLE how much he admired her.

Austin Green said, “Shannen very much leads by example and shows people that even in the worst situations, you can be a good person and keep your head up.” “Yes she is; she’s a wonderful person and an inspiration.”

In her 2023 PEOPLE interview, Doherty talked about how much she loved life, how thankful she was to be able to wake up and spend time with her family, friends, and dog, and how hopeful she was about the future.

She told PEOPLE, “My best memory is still to come.” “Pray.” I thank God every morning and every night and pray for the things that are important to me without asking for too much. It helps me feel closer to God and my spiritual side. “My faith is my mantra.”

It made her more aware of life and the world around her, she said.

“I know it sounds corny and crazy, but you feel so blessed and more aware of everything.” We’re the ones who want to work the most because we’re so thankful for every second, hour, and day we get to be here.

At the age of 34, she was considered by many to be an experienced driver. There was nothing to suspect, however, on that cursed day, something terrible happened!

Courtney Ann Sanford, 34, renowned as an adept driver, met an unexpected end on a day that started like any other. While on the road, she felt a surge of joy as her favorite song, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, played on the radio. Wanting to share her elation, Courtney took a selfie and captioned it, “This song makes me happy!” on Facebook. That split-second decision proved fatal.

Soon after, Courtney’s vehicle slammed into a truck at approximately 60 km/h. The force drove her car into a ditch and then into a tree. The devastating aftermath saw her car in flames, and trapped inside, she tragically succumbed.

When her family was alerted, they learned of her final Facebook post, eerily timed around the incident. Law enforcement confirmed, “The post was made at 8:33 AM. At 8:34 AM, we received the emergency call.”

Courtney’s tragic end underscores the peril of distracted driving. Her story stands as a stern reminder: “When behind the wheel, focus on driving; lif

Man Bursts into His Boss’s Office after Learning He Spreads Rumors about His Wife

I was wrapping up my day at work when I overheard some coworkers gossiping about my boss, Mr. Craft, claiming he’d slept with my wife, Amanda. I was absolutely furious. My blood was boiling, and I could hardly see straight as I burst into Craft’s office to confront him. He didn’t even deny it, saying Amanda was unhappy and wanted a promotion to help me out.

I rushed home, desperate to talk to Amanda, but she was gone, and our safe was empty. Days turned into months with no sign of her. I was a wreck, barely holding it together. But, a year later, I accidentally ran into her. It turned out she was living under a new name in a nearby town. I had to know what had happened.

“Amanda,” I called out, my voice trembling as I saw her at the local grocery store. She turned, her eyes widening in shock and then filling with something I couldn’t quite place. Fear? Guilt?

“Eric, I…” she started, but words failed her. I grabbed her by the arm and guided her to a nearby café. She didn’t resist.

We sat down, and I demanded answers. Amanda took a deep breath and started to explain, her hands shaking.

“I never wanted to hurt you, Eric,” she said, her eyes filling with tears. “Mr. Craft made advances on me, and I felt trapped. He promised me a promotion and more money if I went along with it. I thought it would help us, but it spiraled out of control. When I finally refused him, he threatened to ruin us both.”

I could barely contain my anger, but I listened. “So you just left? Took everything and disappeared?”

She nodded, wiping her eyes. “I was scared, Eric. He said he would make sure you’d lose your job, that we’d lose everything. I thought if I left, he’d leave you alone.”

I leaned back in my chair, my mind racing. “And the money?”

Amanda looked down, ashamed. “I took it to start over. I didn’t think you’d forgive me, and I was desperate.”

We sat in silence for a few minutes. I was overwhelmed by a mix of emotions — betrayal, anger, sadness. But beneath it all, there was still a small part of me that cared for her.

“Why are you here, Amanda?” I finally asked.

“I couldn’t go far,” she admitted. “I wanted to keep an eye on you, make sure you were okay.”

I shook my head, trying to process everything. “What now?”

Amanda reached across the table and took my hand. “I want to make things right, Eric. I know I messed up, but I want to fix this. Can you ever forgive me?”

Forgiveness wasn’t going to be easy. But I saw the sincerity in her eyes and realized she was just as much a victim of Craft’s manipulation as I was. I took a deep breath and nodded slowly. “It’s going to take time, Amanda. A lot of time. But we can try.”

We spent the next few hours talking, trying to piece together the shattered fragments of our lives. Amanda agreed to come back and help me confront Mr. Craft, to expose his manipulation and deceit. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it was a start.

With Amanda’s testimony and the evidence we gathered, we filed a report against Mr. Craft. The investigation revealed a pattern of his abuse of power, and he was eventually fired and faced legal consequences. It was a small victory, but it felt like reclaiming a part of our lives that he had tried to destroy.

Amanda and I took it one day at a time, rebuilding trust and our relationship. It was a long road, but we were determined to walk it together. In the end, we emerged stronger, having learned that even in the darkest times, there’s a way to find light and hope.

My Ex Ruined My Day at Work, I Brilliantly Took Revenge on Him the Same Day

Miranda wiped down the kitchen counter with meticulous care, her mind still reeling from the morning’s events. Her ex-boyfriend, Carlos, had made an unexpected appearance at the restaurant where she worked, his intentions clearly aimed at humiliating her in front of her colleagues and customers.

Despite the ache in her chest and the embarrassment burning in her cheeks, Miranda knew she couldn’t afford to let this setback derail her hard-earned stability. As an immigrant from Mexico trying to carve out a life in a new country, Miranda had faced her share of challenges. Building a career in the bustling city had been tough, but she had persevered, working long hours to prove herself in the competitive restaurant industry. Her breakup with Carlos had been a bitter blow, their relationship unraveling in a whirlwind of public arguments and hurtful accusations. Now, his attempt to shame her at work threatened not just her pride but also her livelihood.

“I’m really sorry for being late again, Michael. A lot has been happening… my boyfriend and I broke up, and everyone knows about it,” Miranda confessed to her boss, Michael, as she stood in the busy kitchen. Michael, a gruff but fair man who had seen his share of personal struggles, regarded Miranda with a mixture of sympathy and sternness. “Miranda, what happens in your life is your thing, but it’s a problem for me if it messes with your work. I need you here on time, ready to work. This is your final warning,” he said, his voice carrying the weight of authority.

Miranda nodded, swallowing the lump in her throat. She understood the gravity of the situation. Her job was her lifeline, the foundation upon which she built her dreams for a better future. She couldn’t afford to lose it, especially not because of Carlos and his petty vendetta. Throughout the day, Miranda kept her head down, focusing on her tasks with renewed determination. Despite the lingering humiliation, a seed of resolve began to grow within her. By evening, as she tidied up the kitchen and prepared to leave for the day, an idea began to form—a way to turn the tables on Carlos and reclaim her dignity. That night, armed with her plan and a newfound sense of empowerment, Miranda executed her revenge with precision. She knew Carlos’s routine, knew where he liked to unwind after a long day. Quietly and confidently, she approached him at his favorite bar, where he sat smugly surrounded by his friends. Carlos’s eyes widened in surprise as Miranda stood before him, her demeanor calm but resolute. “Carlos,” she began, her voice steady, “you tried to humiliate me today, but all you did was remind me of how strong I am. You see, I don’t need to sink to your level to get back at you. I just need to rise above it.” With that, Miranda turned on her heel and walked away, leaving Carlos speechless and his friends awkwardly shifting in their seats. She knew her revenge wasn’t about causing a scene or stooping to his tactics—it was about showing him and herself that she was capable of overcoming adversity with grace and dignity. In the days that followed, Miranda focused on her work with renewed vigor, her confidence bolstered by the knowledge that she had faced down her demons and emerged stronger. Carlos’s attempt to derail her had only reinforced her resilience and determination to succeed against all odds. As for Carlos, he learned a valuable lesson that day—that true strength lies not in tearing others down but in lifting oneself up. And for Miranda, her triumph over humiliation became a defining moment, proof that she was capable of weathering any storm that life threw her way.

So Funny – A man…

A man returned from work one night headed straight to the bedroom and started making love to his wife. When done, he went to the kitchen and got some cold water only to find his wife there, also looking for something in the fridge.

He asked his wife how she got to the kitchen so quickly when they had just finished making love.

His wife screamed: “WHAT…..WHAT His wife screamed: “WHAT…..WHAT LOVE?!!! That was my mother in the bedroom, she was tired when she arrived so I let her sleep in our room. Pissed off, she ran to her mother and asked her why didn’t she say anything when her husband was making love to her. Mother replied: “You know me and your husband don’t talk”.

A man and his wife are awakened at 3 o’clock

A man and his wife are awakened at 3 o’clock in the morning by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door, where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push. “Not a chance!” screams the husband. “It’s three o’clock in the morning!”
Long
He slams the door and returns to bed.

“Who was that?” asked his wife.

“Just some drunk guy asking for a push.” he answers.

“Did you help him?” she asks.

“No, I did not! It’s three in the morning and it’s pouring out!”

“Well, you have a short memory.” says his wife. “Can’t you remember about three months ago when we broke down and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him and you should be ashamed of yourself!”

The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain.

He calls out into the dark, “Hello, are you still there?”

“Yes.” comes back the answer.

“Do you still need a push?” calls out the husband.

“Yes, please!” comes the reply from the dark.

“Where are you?” asks the husband.

“Over here, on the swing.”
