She was one of the greatest divas. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing.

Star of “The Young and the Restless,” Marla Adams, has died.

The actress, who won an Emmy, was 85 years old.

The news was shared on Thursday by Matt Kane, who is in charge of media and talent for The Young and the Restless.

According to him, she died in Los Angeles, California.

The role of Dina Abbott Mergeron on the famous soap opera made Marla famous.

HER WORK
She was born in Ocean City, NJ, on August 28, 1938.

In 1956, she graduated from high school and went to New York City to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Back in the late 1950s, Marla was a Broadway star.

She was in The Visit with Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne.

She went back to the stage in 1961 to be in Splendor in the Grass with Natalie Wood.

Starting in 1968 and ending in 1974, she played Belle Clemens on the CBS daytime drama The Secret Storm.

Later, in 1982, she started her job on The Young and the Restless as Dina Abbott Mergeron.

But because her contract was up, she was only on the show for three years.

That didn’t stop her from appearing on the show as a guest in 1991, 1996, 2008, and 2017.

Once more, Dina came back in 2020, and fans saw her sad death.

For her part in the drama show, Marla won a Daytime Emmy.

As Marla filmed her last scene, she talked about what it was like to be on the show.

“Of all the characters I’ve played from The Secret Storm to Broadway, this has been the most astonishing, amazing part I’ve ever had the privilege to play,” said she.

“YOU WILL BE MISSED” Fans wrote about it on X, which used to be Twitter.

“Fantastic as Dina!” “Rest in peace, Marla Adams. You will be missed by Young and the Restless fans,” one commented.

“OMG, how sad,” said someone else. Really liked this Emmy winner. Take it easy.”

Another fan wrote, “Sending my deepest condolences to her family, friends, and everyone who loved her.”

Four people said, “She was incredibly talented.”

An Antique Tool We Haven’t Seen In Years Brings Back Nostalgic Memories

When we see something from our past, it can often spark a number of nostalgic memories. Those simple memories have the ability to make us feel good about our past.

Sometimes, the nostalgic feeling that we get can come from a simple tool that we may have used when we were children. It may not have even been used by us, but we remember others using it in our past.

This includes this vintage tool that is used in agriculture. It is still used today, but it is not quite the same and it has changed since its early beginnings.

I’m talking about the hay hook, a simple iron hook that was forged from steel or iron and was around in the 1800s or perhaps even earlier. It became a tool that was used in agriculture when machinery was not available.

The person holding the hook could easily grab a bale of hay and move it from one place to another. It made the job a lot easier.

This was especially important back in the day when farming was very labor-intensive. I’m not saying that it doesn’t take a lot of work today, but we do have machines that handle a lot of the work as well.

This particular tool could be used for stacking hay, transporting it, and moving around large quantities of hay bales. Every farmer had one at their disposal.

It’s true that modern technology has replaced the hay hook to a large extent, but it is still used by many who recognize the importance of hard work.

It’s also a tool from our past that will always be around, as long as farming is around.

My Son Heard His Mom Screaming & Strangers’ Voices, Urging Me Home — What I Discovered Was beyond Belief

”Daddy, please come home!! Mom is screaming…”

It was just another ordinary day when my son’s frantic calls turned my world upside down. I could hear the fear in his voice as he told me that he could hear his mom screaming and unfamiliar voices in the house. Panic consumed me as I wondered what could possibly be happening.

Without wasting a second, I rushed to my car and dialed my wife’s number, desperately hoping for an answer. But there was no response. In a state of urgency, I dialed 911 while my mind raced with worry. The drive back home felt like an eternity, filled with unsettling thoughts.

As I arrived at the house, my heart sank when I saw the flashing lights of a police car in our driveway. Without hesitation, I stormed into the house, followed closely by the police officers. The anguished cries of my wife echoed through the corridors as I frantically searched for her.

But what I found in our bedroom was beyond belief. It wasn’t my wife, but my brother lying on the floor, anguish etched on his face. My wife, with a pale and frightened expression, was by his side, trying to provide comfort. Confusion and concern swept over me as I demanded an explanation for what had transpired.

Struggling to find words, my wife tearfully explained that my brother had come to discuss some family matters and had unexpectedly collapsed. It was a heartbreaking sight, and I couldn’t fathom how things had taken such a terrifying turn.

In the chaos, paramedics arrived, taking charge of the situation. Helpless, I watched as they assessed my brother’s condition. My mind whirled with questions – why was my brother here? Why were they in our bedroom? But amidst the commotion, my wife explained that my brother had been going through a difficult time, and in his distress, he didn’t want to disturb me at work, hence the choice of our bedroom for their conversation.

As the paramedics worked tirelessly, my brother weakly grasped my hand. “Jake, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean for this to happen,” he gasped. Despite my confusion and fear, I assured him that we would find a way through this ordeal.

Once the situation was under control, the police officers took our statements and left. My son emerged from his place of hiding, visibly shaken and pale with fear. I held him close, comforting him and reassuring him that everything would be alright.

At the hospital, we learned that my brother had suffered from a severe panic attack, compounded by an underlying heart condition that had gone undiagnosed. The doctors assured us that with proper treatment and care, he would recover.

Sitting by my brother’s bedside, I contemplated the fragility of life and how swiftly circumstances could change. This unforeseen series of events brought into sharp focus what truly matters. Our family’s bond grew stronger, and my wife and I became pillars of support for my brother during his recovery. Together, we united in ways we never had before, cherishing the importance of love, support, and being there for one another, unconditionally.

From that day forward, our lives took on a new perspective. We realized that through the scariest moments, we can grow stronger together as a family. No matter the challenges we face, we will always be there for each other.

The only remaining member of the group released a heartfelt statement about the dеаths.

A plane carrying the Nelons, a well-known and loved gospel family in the United States, crashed and kiIIed all on board.

Seven people died in the terrible accident, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and Nathan Kistler, their son-in-law.

Melanie Hodges, who worked for the family, and Larry Haynie, a pilot, and his wife Melissa also died.

That person, Autumn Nelon Streetman, wasn’t on the plane at that time.

When their plane crashed over Wyoming, band members were on their way to Alaska to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise.

Someone said the plane crashed into the ground in flames, and firefighters and other emergency workers rushed to the scene as a wildfire broke out.

According to the Wyoming sheriff’s office, no one survived.

In a statement about the tragedy, Autumn Nelon Streetman said, “As many of you know by now, my parents, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister Amber, brother-in-law Nathan, and our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry, and Melissa Haynie, were in a terrible plane crash on Friday.”

For the prayers that have already been said for me, my husband Jamie, our soon-to-be-born son, and Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark, thank you.

“Your prayers, love, and support will help us get through the next few days. Thank you.”

A video taken just before they got on the plane that was going to crash shows Jason talking to his family and the pilot on a Nebraska runway while smiling.

FlightAware.com says the plane was a Pilatus PC-12/47E owned by Haynie Enterprises.

The accident will now be looked into by the National Transportation Safety Board.

In 2016, The Nelons were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame. They are widely seen as one of the most important families in US gospel history.

I Shall Not Be Moved, Come Morning, and We Shall Wear a Robe and Crown are some of their most popular songs.

They have also been nominated for three Grammys over the course of their career.

Mom Leaves Note On “Disrespectful” Son’s Door, And Now It’s Going Viral

Being a parent to a cocky, disrespectful teenager is far from easy, and different parents have different approaches to get their children to behave.

One mom, Heidi Johnson, wrote a handwritten letter to her son, Aaron, and shared it on Facebook. She didn’t intend for the post to go viral. She didn’t even intend to make the post public. It was supposed to just be for friends to see, but she does not regret her post or the fact that it’s public.

In the letter to her 13-year-old son, Johnson reprimanded her son treating her like a “roommate.” She went on to give him an itemized bill for rent, food, etc that totaled over $700. If he was going to treat her like a roommate instead of his mom, she would do the same.

Johnson signed the note, “Love Mom,” and she truly does love her son. She followed up the post with another post explaining some backstory to the situation. She also reassured parents who were criticizing her that “I am not going to put my 13 year old on the street if he can’t pay his half of the rent. I am not wanting him to pay anything. I want him to take pride in his home, his space, and appreciate the gifts and blessings we have.”

She added that she never intended for Aaron to pay the bill. Instead, she wanted him to “gain an appreciation of what things cost.” The reason Johnson wrote the note was to make sure her son understood “what life would look like if I was not his ‘parent,’ but rather a ‘roommate.’ It was a lesson about gratitude and respect from the very beginning.”

Johnson also explained that before she wrote the note, her son had lied about doing his homework, and when she told him she was going to restrict his internet access, he responded, “Well, I am making money now.” She explained that the money he was referring to was a little bit of income he was making from his YouTube channel, but not nearly enough to pay for food and rent.

The public note has not hurt Johnson’s relationship with her son. She explained, “He and I still talk as openly as ever. He has apologized multiple times.”

Johnson has also had parents turning to her for advice since she posted the note to her son. She explains, “My post seems to have opened a door, and people feel safe coming to me and asking for advice, venting, or even just have someone bear witness to their experience by listening and opening up and sharing a piece of myself in return.”

She’s had her license plate for 15 years, but now the state finds it “inappropriate.”

Custom license plates offer car owners a unique opportunity to showcase their individuality. These individuals who are willing to pay an additional fee can personalize their license plates with custom messages or combinations of letters and numbers. Vanity plates provide an opportunity for people to showcase their creativity and express themselves in a unique way. However, there are instances when state governments and their departments of motor vehicles disapprove of contentious language, resulting in the rejection of a vanity plate application.

Wendy Auger recently discovered that her vanity plate, which she had proudly displayed for fifteen years, was unexpectedly rejected due to a word on the plate. Her vanity plate was quite amusing, with the phrase “PB4WEGO,” bringing smiles to the faces of many as she cruised along the highways and remote roads of her home in New Hampshire. Auger, a bartender from the Gonic neighborhood in Rochester, New Hampshire, was taken aback by the DMV’s perception of the situation as offensive.

Auger strongly feels that the state is attempting to suppress her freedom of speech, a fundamental right. In addition, she believes that the expression “pe* before we go” is not an inappropriate phrase to have on a vanity plate. She sees it as a piece of practical advice that parents commonly give to their children.

Auger had not acquired the plate on a whim. After tirelessly searching for it for years, she eagerly anticipated its long-awaited availability. Seizing the opportunity, she eagerly chose to display “PB4WEGO” on her New Hampshire license plate. The reason behind this change was the state’s decision to increase the character limit on its vanity license plates from six to seven.

The state mentioned that the changes were made years ago due to a court order from the NH Supreme Court, and now the rules are very specific.

Should Auger be required to replace her fifteen-year-old license plate?

The Astonishing Transformation of Little Johnny: A Misunderstood Math Genius

Step right up, folks, and behold the wonder that is Little Johnny – the kid who went from math struggler to math devotee! His parents’ decision to enroll him in a nearby Catholic school was the catalyst for this surprising transformation. And trust me, you’re about to find out why in the most unexpected way.

Picture this: Little Johnny, once a lethargic lad who could barely lift a pencil to solve a simple math problem, now heads straight to his room after school, diving headfirst into equations and formulas. Hours pass by, and still, Johnny remains glued to his books, determined to crack the numbers. Day after day, week after week – the same relentless pattern continues. His parents are left scratching their heads, wondering what on Earth caused this miraculous change.

Unable to contain their curiosity any longer, Johnny’s parents finally muster up the courage to confront their young scholar. “Johnny, what’s gotten into you?” they ask, their voices tinged with disbelief. “Why the sudden effort with your math homework?”

And then, ladies and gentlemen, comes the moment of revelation. With a mischievous grin, Little Johnny replies, “Well, it all started on my first day of math class. As soon as I walked in, I saw this picture of a man nailed above the blackboard. It looked like a bizarre addition operation, and I realized just how seriously they take math here!”

Yes, you heard that right. Little Johnny took one look at the crucifix, mistook it for a math symbol, and decided that if they’re willing to go to such lengths, he better step up his game. Now, whether it’s a divine misunderstanding or sheer determination fueled by fear of becoming another “addition” to the wall, Johnny’s math skills have soared sky-high.

So, there you have it. Sometimes all it takes is a little misinterpretation to ignite a spark of passion. Here’s to Little Johnny, our unexpected math prodigy, proving that sometimes logic (or lack thereof) can lead to the most remarkable changes.

Why I’m Furious About My Ex-Husband’s Girlfriend Crossing the Line With Our Daughter

Gather around, friends, and let me spill the tea about a family drama that’s sure to have you picking sides. Vanessa, a fab 35-year-young mom, thought she had parenting all figured out after her amicable divorce from Josh. They did the whole conscious uncoupling thing a year ago, making sure their adorable daughter, Miranda, didn’t feel like she was in the middle of a wrestling match. Vanessa’s even started seeing Frank, but she hasn’t felt the need to introduce him to Miranda just yet. Maybe she’s just old-school like that.

Now, Josh, on the other hand, has been trotting around with Kylie for about five months. Miranda, bless her heart, seems to adore Kylie, which initially made Vanessa breathe a little easier. Who wouldn’t want an extra set of caring hands around, right? Everything seemed peachy keen until one fateful day turned Vanessa’s world upside down.

Picture this: Miranda, full of six-year-old exuberance, comes home upset because she lost her beloved rubber ducky at Kylie’s house. Sweet, right? But hold your horses. The real bombshell drops when Miranda mentions that Kylie has been regularly giving her baths. That’s right, folks – full-on, sudsy, personal baths. Wait, what?

Vanessa’s mama bear instincts went into overdrive. Sure, she appreciated Kylie’s willingness to be involved, but there’s a line, and Kylie just leapfrogged right over it. Wanting to brush Miranda’s hair or help her pick out clothes? Fine. But baths? That’s next-level intimacy, and Vanessa wasn’t having it.

In a world bursting with parenting forums and unsolicited advice, Vanessa found herself caught in a web of doubt. Was she overreacting? Was it just a harmless gesture of care? Should she march over to Josh and Kylie’s place and hash it out, or quietly fume and let it slide? Her head was a swirl of questions and second guesses.

If only parenting came with a manual written by a team of mind readers. Vanessa couldn’t shake the feeling of violation. She worried this was just the tip of the iceberg – what other boundaries might Kylie think it’s okay to cross? Miranda is her baby, after all, and motherhood isn’t just about feeding and clothing a child. It’s about preserving their sense of privacy and comfort, boundaries firmly in place.

Yet, Vanessa didn’t want to come off as the possessive ex-wife. There’s a fine line between being protective and overbearing. Maybe Kylie thought she was just being helpful because after all, Miranda did seem to like her. Still, it bothered Vanessa enough to consider rethinking her approach to co-parenting dynamics.

Addressing the Bath-time Blunder
How should Vanessa navigate this delicate dance of parenting politics? For starters, communication is key. Avoiding the conversation would only breed resentment and misunderstandings. Vanessa knew she had to talk to Josh, but doing so without throwing shade at Kylie was crucial. It’s all about keeping it cool, calm, and collected.

The Talk
What Vanessa needs is a game plan. A conversation that opens with appreciation for Kylie’s involvement could go a long way. Start on a positive note – something like, “Hey Josh, I’m really glad Miranda likes Kylie so much. It’s great she has another woman to look up to.” That’s the sugar before the medicine.

Then, Vanessa could gently pivot to expressing her concerns. Something like, “But I found out Kylie is giving her baths, and that makes me a bit uncomfortable. I think certain things need to stay between parents and kids to ensure everyone’s boundaries are respected.” Boom. That’s the medicine.

Nobody wins in a defensive argument, so if Josh doesn’t get defensive, they might collaboratively set new boundaries. He might not have even known about the bath-time bonding, and this could be a wake-up call for both of them to recalibrate what’s acceptable.

Seeing It Through Miranda’s Eyes
Miranda’s feelings are the true north in this situation. She seems to genuinely like Kylie, and that’s a win. Vanessa’s job is to protect Miranda’s well-being while allowing her to enjoy the family dynamics around her. If handled correctly, this situation could lead to clearer boundaries and more harmonious relationships for everyone involved.

For now, Vanessa’s going to have to navigate this tricky terrain with tact. Whatever decision she makes will stem from a place of love and protection for Miranda. After the dust settles, it’ll be a lesson in the ever-evolving art of co-parenting.

Mary’s Unique Opinion
And there we have it, folks. At the end of the day, Vanessa isn’t just dealing with baths – she’s facing the classic dilemma of how to co-parent in a way that preserves her daughter’s well-being while respecting the others involved. If I were in her shoes, I’d sit everyone down for a pow-wow over coffee (or maybe a mimosa – who’s judging?). It’s all about laying out the ground rules with a smile and maybe a few jokes to keep things light. After all, parenting is a wild ride, and sometimes, it’s the unexpected bumps that teach us the most valuable lessons about ourselves and our families. Cheers to Vanessa for facing it head-on!

My Sister Betrayed Our Family and Now She’s Asking for Help

Ah, family drama. The one arena where popcorn should be a mandatory snack. This time, the spotlight is on Emily and her sister, a duo entangled in a saga involving betrayal, a chunk of money, and—hold onto your seats—medical needs. Trust me, this one’s a roller coaster.

Emily contacted us to share her tale of woe, so let’s dive into the nitty-gritty, shall we?

Our tale opens with Emily receiving her portion of the inheritance. Seems normal, right? Hmm, not so much. You see, her sister did a vanishing act with someone who worked for their family and had the audacity to pinch from their company. The shock of it all unfurled a sad chapter when their dad suffered a heart attack and passed away.

In the world of family feuds, Emily wasn’t about to take this lying down. She swore she’d never forgive her sister. Right when she thought the drama had cooled down, her sister drops back into the picture, demanding her slice of inheritance. But wait, there’s more! The plot thickens: the sister’s son is critically ill and those medical bills are sky-high.

With circumstances as dire as a Shakespearean tragedy, Emily’s sister goes on to plead her case over a tearful phone call. The twist? Emily’s not ready to part with the money so easily. She sets down a condition—a tall order, really—that her sister must get divorced to access that inheritance. Oh, the drama!

So here we are, stuck at a crossroads with Emily, who’s swimming in a sea of indecision. Help her, she asks. But which way to turn? Give in to her estranged sister’s pleas or stand firm on her conditions? It’s a tough nut to crack. What would you do in Emily’s shoes? One could ponder the morals, question the heartstrings, and debate the strings attached.

Family dilemmas like these are no walk in the park. They often come with layers of hurt, betrayal, and the occasional sliver of hope. Emily’s story is no exception. It’s no easy task deciding what’s right when your past is filled with such turbulence and betrayal.

But let’s not get too gloomy. Solving this conundrum might bring about a rather unexpected twist—a redemption arc, perhaps, or just an understanding that sometimes doing the right thing has its sacrifices.

So, there you have it, folks! The age-old dilemma of family, forgiveness, and the ever-enticing (or should I say, complicating) lure of money. Until next time, keep those emotional seatbelts fastened.

Beloved star died today after she’s caught in ‘dust devil’ during plane jump

Skydiving star Freddy Chase broke the sad news that his wife had died with a touching tribute.

For 28 years, Devrey Jane LaRiccia-Chase was killed in a terrible accident. Since then, Chase has spoken out about what happened before she died.

LaRiccia-Chase was a Californian skydiving instructor who worked full-time.

Her famous athlete husband, who is known for posting daredevil videos, finally spoke out about what happened on Instagram story.

“Hey everyone… He began, “I want to thank all of you for the love I’ve received over the past few days and know I will continue to receive for days to come because of this terrible event.”

After that, Chase talked about what happened right before she died.

“Devrey was as excited as ever to start working at Skydive Perris. On that beautiful day, she was a tandem instructor and did her last jump with a student. It was a normal day for her to skydive.

“Her canopy was turning on final to land safely on the grass, just like she has done hundreds of times before. There was no problem with the plane or anything else.

“She saw what we call “dust devils” in our business—tiny tornadoes that are dangerous in the sport.”

“At about 40ft devrey avoid one of them, but caught a second one, with dust devils going over grass they come invisible because you can’t see any dust in the direction there going.”

He said that the tragedy “threw her canopy into an uncontrollable spin.”

Chase said she was still alive but unconscious when she hit the ground.

Sadly, LaRiccia-Chase died at the hospital from her injuries.

Chase had posted a video of his late wife before he took it down, saying “that it was too close to her death.”

“I loved that perfect girl,” Chase said to end his speech.

Before telling everyone about his wife’s sad death, Chase wrote a heartbreaking tribute to her on Instagram.

“My soul, my love, my other half, my baby my ride or die, my everything, my wife…” Chase wrote about his wife who died.

“You were [too] perfect for this world and god just wanted to bring you home, you were an angel amongst us and just was called back to heaven.”

Chase told her how hard it had been for him to deal with her sudden death.

“Having to say goodbye to you for now will forever be the hardest thing I will ever do in my life,” he said.

“I love you so much my now and forever angel,” he said.

The late skydiving instructor got a lot of praise in the comments section of Chase’s post.

One person wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking.”

Someone else wrote, “She was the kind of light the world needs more of right now.”

“Really sad. Freddy, I love you.

Since then, Chase has put a lot of pictures and videos of his wife on his Instagram Stories.

After she died, her family set up a GoFundMe page.

“With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the death of our beloved daughter and sister,” her family wrote on the page.

Tell them that her family needs help getting her body back to Maine, where she was born and raised.

As of Monday night, this page had raised more than $53,000.

The woman’s family wrote an update to thank everyone who had given money.

“We wanted to thank everyone who has donated thus far,” they said.

Many people who knew Devrey and people who only briefly met her have sent their love and support to her family.

As each moment goes by, we’re doing the best we can. “Blue skies and fly high.”

It was also known that LaRiccia-Chase loved going to raves and shared many photos and videos from these events.

CHASE’S WORK

Freddy Chase has more than 400,000 Instagram followers and over 2.5 million TikTok followers.

Posts of him falling backwards off of tall building ledges with his parachute have made him famous all over the world.

Chase has shown off his crazy jumps, including the one he did from 18,000 feet up.

That the content creator’s calm personality came from the hundreds of dives he had done.

“I don’t really get nervous anymore,” he told his fans in the past.

“I have over 800 skydives so it’s pretty relaxing for me now.”
