Star of “The Young and the Restless,” Marla Adams, has died.
The actress, who won an Emmy, was 85 years old.
The news was shared on Thursday by Matt Kane, who is in charge of media and talent for The Young and the Restless.
According to him, she died in Los Angeles, California.
The role of Dina Abbott Mergeron on the famous soap opera made Marla famous.

She was born in Ocean City, NJ, on August 28, 1938.
In 1956, she graduated from high school and went to New York City to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Back in the late 1950s, Marla was a Broadway star.
She was in The Visit with Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne.
She went back to the stage in 1961 to be in Splendor in the Grass with Natalie Wood.
Starting in 1968 and ending in 1974, she played Belle Clemens on the CBS daytime drama The Secret Storm.
Later, in 1982, she started her job on The Young and the Restless as Dina Abbott Mergeron.
But because her contract was up, she was only on the show for three years.
That didn’t stop her from appearing on the show as a guest in 1991, 1996, 2008, and 2017.
Once more, Dina came back in 2020, and fans saw her sad death.
For her part in the drama show, Marla won a Daytime Emmy.
As Marla filmed her last scene, she talked about what it was like to be on the show.
“Of all the characters I’ve played from The Secret Storm to Broadway, this has been the most astonishing, amazing part I’ve ever had the privilege to play,” said she.

This particular tool could be used for stacking hay, transporting it, and moving around large quantities of hay bales. Every farmer had one at their disposal.
It’s true that modern technology has replaced the hay hook to a large extent, but it is still used by many who recognize the importance of hard work.
It’s also a tool from our past that will always be around, as long as farming is around.
It was just another ordinary day when my son’s frantic calls turned my world upside down. I could hear the fear in his voice as he told me that he could hear his mom screaming and unfamiliar voices in the house. Panic consumed me as I wondered what could possibly be happening.
Without wasting a second, I rushed to my car and dialed my wife’s number, desperately hoping for an answer. But there was no response. In a state of urgency, I dialed 911 while my mind raced with worry. The drive back home felt like an eternity, filled with unsettling thoughts.

Struggling to find words, my wife tearfully explained that my brother had come to discuss some family matters and had unexpectedly collapsed. It was a heartbreaking sight, and I couldn’t fathom how things had taken such a terrifying turn.
In the chaos, paramedics arrived, taking charge of the situation. Helpless, I watched as they assessed my brother’s condition. My mind whirled with questions – why was my brother here? Why were they in our bedroom? But amidst the commotion, my wife explained that my brother had been going through a difficult time, and in his distress, he didn’t want to disturb me at work, hence the choice of our bedroom for their conversation.
As the paramedics worked tirelessly, my brother weakly grasped my hand. “Jake, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean for this to happen,” he gasped. Despite my confusion and fear, I assured him that we would find a way through this ordeal.
Once the situation was under control, the police officers took our statements and left. My son emerged from his place of hiding, visibly shaken and pale with fear. I held him close, comforting him and reassuring him that everything would be alright.
At the hospital, we learned that my brother had suffered from a severe panic attack, compounded by an underlying heart condition that had gone undiagnosed. The doctors assured us that with proper treatment and care, he would recover.
Sitting by my brother’s bedside, I contemplated the fragility of life and how swiftly circumstances could change. This unforeseen series of events brought into sharp focus what truly matters. Our family’s bond grew stronger, and my wife and I became pillars of support for my brother during his recovery. Together, we united in ways we never had before, cherishing the importance of love, support, and being there for one another, unconditionally.
From that day forward, our lives took on a new perspective. We realized that through the scariest moments, we can grow stronger together as a family. No matter the challenges we face, we will always be there for each other.
The only remaining member of the group released a heartfelt statement about the dеаths.
A plane carrying the Nelons, a well-known and loved gospel family in the United States, crashed and kiIIed all on board.
Seven people died in the terrible accident, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and Nathan Kistler, their son-in-law.
Melanie Hodges, who worked for the family, and Larry Haynie, a pilot, and his wife Melissa also died.
That person, Autumn Nelon Streetman, wasn’t on the plane at that time.
When their plane crashed over Wyoming, band members were on their way to Alaska to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise.
Someone said the plane crashed into the ground in flames, and firefighters and other emergency workers rushed to the scene as a wildfire broke out.
According to the Wyoming sheriff’s office, no one survived.
In a statement about the tragedy, Autumn Nelon Streetman said, “As many of you know by now, my parents, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister Amber, brother-in-law Nathan, and our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry, and Melissa Haynie, were in a terrible plane crash on Friday.”

I want him to take pride in his home, his space, and appreciate the gifts and blessings we have.”
She added that she never intended for Aaron to pay the bill. Instead, she wanted him to “gain an appreciation of what things cost.” The reason Johnson wrote the note was to make sure her son understood “what life would look like if I was not his ‘parent,’ but rather a ‘roommate.’ It was a lesson about gratitude and respect from the very beginning.”

Skydiving star Freddy Chase broke the sad news that his wife had died with a touching tribute.
For 28 years, Devrey Jane LaRiccia-Chase was killed in a terrible accident. Since then, Chase has spoken out about what happened before she died.
LaRiccia-Chase was a Californian skydiving instructor who worked full-time.
Her famous athlete husband, who is known for posting daredevil videos, finally spoke out about what happened on Instagram story.
“Hey everyone… He began, “I want to thank all of you for the love I’ve received over the past few days and know I will continue to receive for days to come because of this terrible event.”
After that, Chase talked about what happened right before she died.
“Devrey was as excited as ever to start working at Skydive Perris. On that beautiful day, she was a tandem instructor and did her last jump with a student. It was a normal day for her to skydive.
“Her canopy was turning on final to land safely on the grass, just like she has done hundreds of times before. There was no problem with the plane or anything else.
“She saw what we call “dust devils” in our business—tiny tornadoes that are dangerous in the sport.”
“At about 40ft devrey avoid one of them, but caught a second one, with dust devils going over grass they come invisible because you can’t see any dust in the direction there going.”
He said that the tragedy “threw her canopy into an uncontrollable spin.”
Chase said she was still alive but unconscious when she hit the ground.
Sadly, LaRiccia-Chase died at the hospital from her injuries.
Chase had posted a video of his late wife before he took it down, saying “that it was too close to her death.”
“I loved that perfect girl,” Chase said to end his speech.
Before telling everyone about his wife’s sad death, Chase wrote a heartbreaking tribute to her on Instagram.
“My soul, my love, my other half, my baby my ride or die, my everything, my wife…” Chase wrote about his wife who died.
“You were [too] perfect for this world and god just wanted to bring you home, you were an angel amongst us and just was called back to heaven.”
Chase told her how hard it had been for him to deal with her sudden death.
“Having to say goodbye to you for now will forever be the hardest thing I will ever do in my life,” he said.
“I love you so much my now and forever angel,” he said.
The late skydiving instructor got a lot of praise in the comments section of Chase’s post.
One person wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking.”
Someone else wrote, “She was the kind of light the world needs more of right now.”
“Really sad. Freddy, I love you.
Since then, Chase has put a lot of pictures and videos of his wife on his Instagram Stories.
After she died, her family set up a GoFundMe page.
“With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the death of our beloved daughter and sister,” her family wrote on the page.
Tell them that her family needs help getting her body back to Maine, where she was born and raised.
As of Monday night, this page had raised more than $53,000.
The woman’s family wrote an update to thank everyone who had given money.
“We wanted to thank everyone who has donated thus far,” they said.
Many people who knew Devrey and people who only briefly met her have sent their love and support to her family.
As each moment goes by, we’re doing the best we can. “Blue skies and fly high.”
