Beloved legend died this morning at his home in Los Angeles

George Schenck, who wrote for and ran NCIS for a long time, has died at the age of 82.

A CBS spokesperson said that George died on Saturday at his home in Los Angeles.

The respected writer was best known for working with Frank Cardea on the crime drama NCIS for the first 15 seasons of the show.

But George was also the creator of another CBS show, Bring ‘Em Back Alive, which aired in 1982 and starred Bruce Boxleitner.

When he heard about George’s death, Mark Harmon, who was on NCIS, said, “So sorry to hear the news on George.”

“George and Frank’s hard work and professionalism changed the show.” I’m so grateful for the teamwork and unity they both showed,” he said in the end.

George was born on February 12, 1942. His father, the late Aubrey Schenck, was a film and TV producer who worked on shows like Robinson Crusoe on Mars and Kill a Dragon.

George got his degree in screenwriting from the well-known University of Southern California. He then went on to get his master’s degree in the first class of the Film School’s new writer’s program.

After finishing school, George joined the US Navy and did his time there before starting to write.

In his early work, he was in one episode of The Wild Wild West, Branded, Hondo, and Bonanza, all of which aired in 1965.

He also wrote scripts for movies with Clint Walker, such as Don’t Worry, We’ll Think of a Title (1966) and More Dead Than Alive (1969).

After working as a freelance writer for a short time on independent films, George teamed up with Frank and the two of them worked on several TV shows together, such as Crazy Like a Fox, The Cosby Mysteries, and Pros and Cons.

However, the CBS police procedural is still their best work together.

Along with Frank, George wrote almost 50 episodes of NCIS starting with the first season in 2003. After Gary Glasberg’s death in 2016, they were made co-showrunners.

They said in a joint statement at the time, “It’s with heavy hearts that we assume his duties.”

Frank stayed with NCIS until 2022, while George retired in 2018.

A fan account for the show paid tribute to George’s work on NCIS on X, which used to be Twitter.

“Rest in peace” George, thanks a lot for all the work you’ve done for this show and franchise for 15 years. I love him and his family, as well as the cast and crew of NCIS!” The post said.

His death comes after the death of Virginia Schenck, his wife of more than 50 years.

Their two sons, Kirk and Jeff, nieces Allison and Natalie, and grandchildren Aidan, Andrew, Ryan, Jordan, and Owen will miss them.

A private service will be held for the screenwriter’s family and close friends to say goodbye.

Instead of flowers, George’s family has asked that donations be made to the Writer’s Guild Foundation, which helps young writers who are just starting out in the business.

Beloved music legend found dead this morning

Shaun Martin, a singer, has died.

He was 45 years old.

The singer who won a Grammy is known for being in the jazz group Snarky Puppy.

No one knows what killed him.

But he was getting better from an illness that wasn’t made public and there was a benefit concert coming up for him.

“This special night is about honoring Shaun’s amazing skills and working together as a musical community to help Shaun get better.” Let’s fill the air with hope, love, and good vibes tonight!” A caption was on the post.

He was killed, Snarky Puppy said in an Instagram post.

“Yesterday, we lost a music legend and, more importantly, a beautiful, luminous human being,” the pair wrote.

“Shaun Martin touched so many people during his life and through the beautiful immortality of music, will continue to do so.”

“I want to say so much, but words just aren’t enough. The band said, “Rest in peace,” and they showed a picture of him playing.

Shaun was also in charge of music for the gospel singer Kirk Franklin.

She was born in Dallas, Texas, on August 23, 1978.

Shaun won four Grammys for his work with Kirk and three for his work with Snarky Puppy.

His mother signed him up for piano lessons when he was four years old. He learned both classical and jazz music there.

Shaun learned how to play gospel music at church.

After he died, his wife Monica Wilson Martin and son Harlem were left behind.

“SO SAD TO HEAR”

On social media, people began to pay tribute to the singer.

“It’s sad to hear this; his spirit and happy playing were big parts of Snarky Puppy’s sound.” “RIP Shawn,” someone on Reddit wrote.

“I’m sorry to hear this,” said someone else.

A third said, “This is the worst f**king news.”

“Nope, dude. Someone on Instagram wrote, “He can’t be gone.”

“Death to Shaun Martin. Someone on X tweeted, “Thanks for the music and thanks for being you.”

“Shaun Martin was a huge name in music.” He was one of the best musicians who ever lived. I still can’t believe he’s gone. Wow, that blows my mind. “I have nothing to say,” said someone else.

HOW SHAUN BEGAN HIS MUSIC CAREER

Shaun’s musical skills are known all over the business.

With Snarky Puppy, he put out seven albums.

The musician worked on many other albums, such as Bjork’s Biophila Live, all of Kirk Franklin’s albums, Kurt Carr’s gospel music, David Crosby’s, and more.

Because he worked on Kirk’s albums, Shaun won the Grammy twice for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album.

He also won two awards for Best Gospel Album while working with Kirk as a producer.

Shaun won three awards for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album with Snarky Puppy.

“Thanks.” Thanks to our families, extended families, and friends at home and at work for all their help during this time.

Zoe then said she would be taking some time off work to help her mom deal with her diagnosis.

Once Zoe got back to her Breakfast show on April 17, 2024, she told everyone that her dear mother had been moved into a hospice.

She gave the paramedics who had helped Julia a Bon Jovi song as a gift.

In the past, she said, “I didn’t see my mom Julia for a few years because she was so young when she got married to my dad and had me.”

“When they parted I lived with my dad and my other ‘mum’, his wife Diane.”

But in the last few years, they became very close, and Zoe helped her mom after her husband Richard died in 2013.

Zoe talked about her brother Jamie Clark when she talked about taking care of her mother.

How tragic! The loss is being mourned across the nation.

Utah native Catherine “Kasha” Rigby lost her life in an avalanche while skiing close to Brezovica, the only ski resort in Kosovo.

The 54-year-old skier, who was born in Vermont but currently resides in Utah, was engaged in a project known as Tour de Piste. She engaged in backcountry skiing at many ski resorts across the globe.

On one of those descents in Kosovo, an avalanche swept Rigby into some trees. It was referred to as the Eagle’s Nest. The Daily Mail claims that she passed away shortly after the collision.

Her fiancé, Magnus Wolfe Murray, was with her when it happened and attempted, but was unsuccessful, to revive her. First, news of her passing spread via Euronews.albania.

Rigby gained notoriety as one of the pioneers of telemark skiing in the United States throughout the 1990s. She transformed it into a quick, aggressive style that made her “the best telemark skier in the known universe,” according to Outside magazine.

She soon began to ski in high altitude locations beyond the Rockies and Alaska.

She was the first person to ski down Cho Oyu with telemark skis and has down 5,000- and 6,000-meter peaks in India, Kamchatka, the Andes, and the Himalaya. Nine ski-related films feature Rigby.

Hilaree Nelson, another lost legend, skied much with Kasha Rigby. Sadly, Nelson passed away in 2022 while skiing down Manaslu’s peak. In 2010, Rigby, Nelson Margaret Wheeler, and Alison Gannett accomplished the first ski descent of the Northwest Face of 5,982-meter Hanuman Tibba in the Indian Himalaya. They had perfected a 2,500-meter couloir.

World famous star died today after being buried in an avalanche

Avalanche killed Catherine “Kasha” Rigby of Utah while she was skiing near Brezovica, which is Kosovo’s only ski resort.

The 54-year-old skier, who was born in Vermont but now lives in Utah, was working on a project called Tour de Piste. She skied off-piste at ski resorts all over the world in it.

After Rigby went down one of those slopes in Kosovo, an avalanche swept him into some trees.

The slope was called the Eagle’s Nest. The Daily Mail says she died soon after the impact. Her fiancé, Magnus Wolfe Murray, was with her when it happened and tried to bring her back to life but failed. Euronews.albania was the first to report her death.

As one of the first people in the U.S. to do telemark skiing in the 1990s, Rigby first became known for her sport. Outside magazine called her “the best telemark skier in the known universe” because she changed it into a fast, aggressive style.

HUGE TRAGEDY. Katy Perry’s stunned. We mournfully announce the demise of

Katy Perry announced the passing of one of her managers on social media.

The 39-year-old singer honored Martin Kirkup on Thursday by sharing some of her own pictures with him.

He passed away at the age of 76.

Even though Martin disliked social media, the Dark Horse hitmaker says she had to write about him because he was so unique.

“It took me a while to make this post…something about post-ing it makes it all feel final,” Katy wrote on Instagram. I must also express how important Martin was and still is to me, even though he disliked social media and all of its sensationalism.

“I say this because I don’t think anyone actually “dies,” she continued. They simply go to the next realm, in my opinion. They used to be here, but now they are everywhere.

“Martin Kirkup was one of my bosses at Direct Management for almost 20 years,” Katy continued. “Show me the data, the P&L, the science, the facts!” was his constant demand. He was our group’s leader. He would simply say something funny, witty, or eloquent with an English accent, and everyone would agree with him, if nothing else worked.

“Martin made sure I was safe.” The man complimented me on being a strong woman and worked hard to get me what I deserved.

“Even before I had a kitchen sink or a window to toss stuff out of, I’ve been so fortunate to have an AMAZING crew by my side for almost 20 years!”

“My team at Direct Management has my utmost pride, respect, and admiration. Martin and all of my managers have literally battled day in and day out for my voice to be heard.”

She added that before he passed away, the British music mogul had heard some of Katy’s new songs.

He finally heard some of what I had been working on and how joyful and wonderful it was three days before he passed away.

He seemed eager for the future, and I was happy to have had one more chance to, in a little way, make him proud.

“We didn’t get to physically say goodbye, but I know he knows how much respect and admiration I have for him, and his hearty chuckles and wicked retorts continue to echo through my mind,” Katy said as she concluded her melancholic letter.

Variety reports that Martin’s three grandchildren, Sam, Abigail, and Ivy, as well as his wife Lale Kirkup, daughter Melisa Kirkup Blatt, and son John Kirkup, will miss him.

END OF IDOL SECTION

Katy announced on Monday that, following six years as a judge, she was departing American Idol.

At the end of the current season, Fireworks’ singer will be departing to focus on new songs.

In response to her decision, Katy stated on Jimmy Kimmel Live, “I think this will probably be my last season for Idol.”

“I really like watching Idol.” I felt the pulse of America through it, but I still need to feel my own.

“I adore the show, but I want to travel and possibly create new music.”

“So, what are your thoughts? I will be attending Rock in Rio, a massive music festival in Brazil, in September. It’s so thrilling, she remarked.

“It’s exciting for everyone, but my Brazilian fans are especially happy.”

“So, for all pop star girls, this year is going to be really, really exciting.”

“I might return if they take me in the future!”

ORIGINAL MUSIC

Now that Katy is moving on, her admirers believe a new album will be released shortly. They have been pleading with the celebrity for a long time to release new music.

Katy posted a picture of herself on Instagram, standing in a seductive black dress with large cutouts in the middle and a deep V-neck. She alluded to her job choices in the post.

It was held together with a LOT of silver butterfly pins. She has used this symbol in a couple of her music videos.

We are praying for Sandra Bullock and her family during this difficult time.

Two years after deciding to take a permanent vacation from acting, Sandy Bullock is prepared to take the stage once more in a variety of ways.

After her longtime spouse passed away from ALS in August 2023, Sandra has been private, but she is gradually reentering the entertainment industry and the dating scene.

Sandra Bullock was last observed doing errands on July 12, which was a couple weeks before a significant birthday, according to sightings.

She was leaving a Beverly Hills dermatologist’s clinic while wearing only white clothing, grinning at the paparazzi.

Us Weekly was informed by a source that Sandra is gradually regaining attention from the public.

“She is enthusiastic about the future.” She’s prepared to play once more.

The celebrity, who turned 60 on July 26, is rumored to have given her actions some serious thought.

Sandra has acted in more than 50 films, including Miss Congeniality, The Blind Side, and The Proposal, in addition to the action thriller Speed (1994), which served as her major film debut.

She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005. She was recognized one of the most significant individuals in the world by Time 100 and Forbes, which both placed her as the second most powerful actress of 2014.

Fans were therefore taken aback to discover that Sandra was stepping away from the spotlight two years ago.

The actress said in March 2022 that following the release of her new romantic comedy, The Lost City, she would be taking a hiatus from the entertainment industry.

“Work in front of the camera needs to take a pause right now, but I can be creative and a part of a community,” she said to CBS.

Sandra responded, “I don’t know,” when asked how long she would be staying away from Hollywood.

“I’m not sure…till I’m in front of a camera and I don’t feel like I do now,” she remarked.

Since then, Sandra’s only acting role has been a brief but unforgettable cameo with Brad Pitt, who costarred with her in Lost City, in the action comedy Bullet Train in 2022.

In addition to spending more time at home with her daughter Layla and son Louis, she focused her entire attention on her eight-year partner and photographer, Bryan Randall, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2020.

In a Red Table Talk episode from 2021, Sandra referred to Bryan as the “love of my life” and supported him while he battled cancer in private.

Over time, the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord are destroyed by the deadly disease known as ALS. It has no known treatment.

On August 6, 2023, Bryan departed from this life following a three-year illness.

Bryan’s family made a statement to People stating that had “chosen early to keep his journey with ALS private.” “We who were responsible for his care tried our best to comply with his request.”

As per the source, Sandra has experienced some of the most difficult things in her life after Bryan’s death.

Us Weekly was informed by a different source that Sandra sought support from her friends and family following Bryan’s passing.

The second source claimed that “everyone, from family to close Hollywood friends, helped her in any way they could.” “She will be appreciative of that forever.”

I appreciate you returning to Hollywood.

After spending some time to grieve her late partner and concentrate on raising her children, Sandra is reportedly ready to return to work, according to Us.

We found out from the initial source that Sandra misses performing and that she enjoyed collaborating with her longstanding pals in the industry.

In May, Sandra appeared on the podcast 50 MPH, which discussed her 1994 blockbuster film Speed.

She expressed her desire to collaborate with her former co-star Keanu Reeves once more.

Sandy stated, “I do believe that before I pass away and leave this world, Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera.”

During the podcast, Keanu expressed that he would “love” to collaborate with Sandra once more.

“Before we go to bed, I would love to work with you again.” He declared, “We’d really knock it out of the park.”

Although there has been no word on a potential Speed 3 film, Sandra will be collaborating on a new film with another well-known actor.

THE CLASSIC CULT HAS A NEW DUTY

She is set to star alongside Nicole Kidman in the film Practical Magic 2, a sequel to the 1998 film of the same name.

Although the original film received negative reviews and did poorly at the box office, it has subsequently gained cult following.

“Sandra is really excited about Practical Magic 2,” our third insider informed us.

“She is incredibly in love with Nicole and is eager to spend more time with her.”

As if managing Sandra’s return to acting and family life weren’t challenging enough, the first source claimed that she is still “healing slowly, keeping Bryan’s memory alive and focusing on her children.”

She is not ruling anything out, but she is “open to the possibility” of dating again in the future.

The reality TV personality is stunned. We mournfully announce his passing.

HEART SINNED Jessika Power, who featured on At First Sight and now married, revealed that her father passed away.

The Australian reality personality announced the tragic news on Instagram today.

She commented, “…doesn’t feel real,” beside a photo of herself and her deceased father. Dad, you are loved. I hope you’re up there enjoying a port with your pals and staring down at those of us who will miss you forever.

The Mafia favorite had grown distant from her mother years ago and was closer to her father, Troy, than to either of them.

After a protracted breakup, Troy and Jessika, an ex-boxer, reconnected and grew close once more six years before Jessika joined Mafs in 2019.

He attended her TV wedding to Mick Gould and even threatened to punch the groom for his indecent remark made during the reception by his best man.

Jessika previously discussed her difficult upbringing on the Lads Dads And Couple Of Beers Podcast.

Jessika remarked, “My mother has sold stories about me, and my best friends have sold stories about me.”

“My mother decided four years ago that we were really close and sold stories that were completely fabricated and false,” the mother said. “I haven’t had a relationship with her in about seven years.”

The moment Jessika was betrayed was one of the darkest moments of her life.

“My mother lying to me was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced,” she remarked.

I recall sobbing all the way to the ground and asking myself, “How could she do this to me?”

“I hadn’t discussed my mother, mentioned her in the media, or discussed anything else. In addition, I consistently declined interviews concerning her.

“The narrative essentially denigrated me as a brat, implying that I wasn’t the young person she raised.”

Jessika discussed how her upbringing was unique compared to that of other young people her age.

“My mother sold the story because she needed money; she had a drug addiction from a very young age,” the woman claimed.

She mentioned that she would have been happier with my ex-husband. She added, “My entire plastic surgery was disgusting.”

“At that moment, I felt so defeated—despite the fact that we are not in a relationship and lack mutual respect, the last vestige of respect I held for you had vanished.”

She answered, “I was just sad.”If a thousand Australians despise me when I wake up in the morning, it doesn’t bother me.

However, you haven’t spoken to your mother in a while when it comes to this.

“I sacrificed my childhood to care for my mother during her drug addiction. She was a terrible person at life, therefore I raised my brothers and mother.”

“It really hurt me when I gave up my childhood for somebody and never asked for anything back.”

“She observed what the industry refers to as “dust devils,” which are tiny tornadoes that can be hazardous for athletes.

Heartbreak for Harry and William. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing

The uncle of Prince Harry and Prince William, Lord Robert Fellowes, has died.

He was 82 years old.

Lord Robert was married to Princess Diana and was the late Queen’s private secretary from 1990 to 1999.

During the “annus horribilis” of 1992, when the royal family had a lot of problems, he helped the Queen.

In that year, Prince Charles had a fight with Diana, Prince Andrew broke up with Sarah Ferguson, Princess Anne got divorced, and a fire destroyed Windsor Castle.

Mohammed al Fayed, the owner of Harrods, later made some strange claims about Lord Robert. He said that he wasn’t responsible for Diana’s car accident in 1997.

He was born at Sandringham House in Norfolk in 1941, when the Second World War was at its worst.

After going to Eton College, he joined the Scots Guards on a short-term commission in 1960.

In 1963, he started working as a banker for Allen Harvey and Ross Ltd., a company that did discount brokerage and banking.

Lord Robert got married to Lady Jane Fellowes in 1978 at Westminster Abbey.

Diana Spencer, Lady Jane’s sister and later Princess Diana, was a bridesmaid at the wedding.

Fellowes was hired as an Assistant Private Secretary by the Royal Household in 1977.

Between 1986 and 1990, he worked as a Deputy Private Secretary and then as a Private Secretary. He did this job for 20 years.

Lord Robert was in charge for nine years, until 1999. Robin Janvrin took over the job after him.

When he worked for the Royal Family for 20 years, Queen Elizabeth II gave him the Royal Household Long and Faithful Service Medal.

He also worked as an extra horse for the late Queen until she died in September 2022.

Robert was made a Baron at the end of his term, and Lady Jane became a Baroness before him.

The official day he took his seat in the House of Lords was October 26, 1999.

They had three kids together: Eleanor Ruth Fellowes, Alexander Robert Fellowes, and Laura Jane Fellowes.

It was very sad when Diana died in 1997, and Fellowes told The Telegraph, “I was very fond of her.” She was a great person.

It was hard for her to be happy, and I feel bad for people who are going through that.
