“I had to cancel the trip and make big changes to all my plans,” she said to them at the time.

While Lira believed she was getting better, she completed her education and got married.
Following a second biopsy in 2017, she was informed by doctors that her breast cancer had returned and had spread to her lungs, lymph nodes, and sternum.
Lira decided to create a business and make significant changes in her life.

Because of her posts on Instagram and TikTok regarding her fight with cancer, Dr. Nix was well-known. On May 8, 2013, she sent her final video on social media, informing followers of her passing.
