A teacher was explaining biology to her 4th grade students. “Human beings are the only animals that stutter,” she said.

A little girl raised her hand. “I had a kitty-cat who stuttered.”The teacher, knowing how precious some children’s stories could become, asked the little girl to describe the incident.

“Well,” she began, “I was in the back yard with my kitty and the Rottweiler that lives next door got a running start, and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard! ”“That must have been scary,” said the teacher.

“It sure was,” said the little girl. “My kitty raised her back and went ‘Ffffff!, Ffffff!, Fffffff!’. But before she could say ‘Fuck!,’ the Rottweiler ate her!

All the other passengers proceed to file on and take up the remaining standing places but she stands close to me, staring me in the eyes. After 5 minutes of this, I kindly ask, ‘may I help you?’

She replies, “yes, I have been waiting here for 5 minutes now and you have not offered to give me your seat “ Can you give me a good reason why I should?”

I can give you 5. I am an old woman of 86, I have near paralysis in my left leg, a hip that has been replaced twice, my husband died 3 days ago and every second I stand up is pure agony. Can you give me as many reasons why you deserve the seat more?”

Sadly, only one. I’m the freakin’ driver.”

A nun wakes up one morning and decides to go for a walk. She gets out of bed and puts on her shoes. As she’s walking down the hallway to the convent kitchen, another nun looks at her, smiles and says, “Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!”

Don’t you just love a heartwarming love story? Well, get ready to be inspired because Brittany Jacques and Matt Montgomery’s love story is one for the ages. Chris Garafola and Brittany Garafola are a brother and sister from Vermont who are lucky to have one another. The two are also best friends, and it has always been like that. Brittany has Down Syndrome, and she is a very special person in her brother’s life. The two grew up in a loving family and developed a close-bond which is unbreakable until this very day.

According to Chris, who is two years younger than his sister, he and Brittany were a “package deal” and he doesn’t remember an opportunity he missed to remind her just how special she is to him.

In a touching Instagram post, Chris wrote that Brittany: “Always poured her love onto him, challenged him, and taught him timeless lessons—giving him countless opportunities to grow (quickly) as a man, and become the best BROTHER he could possibly be.”

Of course, having Down Syndrome has sometimes been challenging for Brittany, not because of herself, but mainly because of the society and how these people are perceived by some. However, she has been able to overcome all the challenges knowing her brother is always by her side.

When the two grew older, Chris met the love of his life, a woman named Tatiana who knew how important Brittany was to Chris, so she started loving her as if he was her sister too. What’s most, Chris and Tatiana even postponed their wedding in order for Brittany to be able to attend it. During the pandemic, Brittany needed to be extra careful because of her weak immune system, so she couldn’t go out much. But the moment she got her COVID-19 shot in February 2021, her brother and her future sister-in-law could start preparing for their big day.

Of course, both Chris and Tatiana knew that Brittany deserved a special role on their wedding day, so one day, Tatiana FacedTime with Brittany and asked her a very important question while Chris, who works as a male model, filmed the entire thing.

“And you know what I wanted to ask you? Can you be my maid of honor?” Tatiana can be seen asking in the video.

As expected, Brittany bursts into tears of joy and answers, “Yes, I can.”

Chris and Tatiana tied the knot in April 2021. The newlyweds had a special gift for Brittany, a beautiful ring which served as a reminder that she would always be a very important person in their lives.

“She’s been my best friend since day one and even once I’m married, it won’t change,” Chris said.

As the video of their wedding was posted online, many couldn’t help but praise Chris and his wife for their dedication and commitment towards his older sister.

I am well. Hope you are. Tell Brother Walt and Brother Elmer the Marine Corps beats working for old man Minch by a mile. Tell them to join up quick before all of the places are filled. I was restless at first because you get to stay in bed till nearly 5 a.m. But I am getting so I like to sleep late. Tell Walt and Elmer all you do before breakfast is smooth your cot, and shine some things. No hogs to slop, feed to pitch, mash to mix, wood to split, fire to lay. Practically nothing.

Men got to shave but it is not so bad, there’s warm water. Breakfast is strong on trimmings like fruit juice, cereal, eggs, bacon, etc., but kind of weak on chops, potatoes, ham, steak, fried eggplant, pie and other regular food, but tell Walt and Elmer you can always sit by the two city boys that live on coffee. Their food, plus yours, holds you until noon when you get fed again. It’s no wonder these city boys can’t walk much.

We go on “route marches,” which the platoon sergeant says are long walks to harden us. If he thinks so, it’s not my place to tell him different. A “route march” is about as far as to our mailbox at home. Then the city guys get sore feet and we all ride back in trucks.

The sergeant is like a school teacher. He nags a lot. The Captain is like the school board. Majors and colonels just ride around and frown. They don’t bother you none. This next will kill Walt and Elmer with laughing. I keep getting medals for shooting. I don’t know why. The bulls-eye is near as big as a chipmunk head and don’t move, and it ain’t shooting at you like the Higgett boys at home. All you got to do is lie there all comfortable and hit it. You don’t even load your own cartridges. They come in boxes.

Then we have what they call hand-to-hand combat training. You get to wrestle with them city boys. I have to be real careful though, they break real easy. It ain’t like fighting with that ole bull at home. I’m about the best they got in this except for that Tug Jordan from over in Silver Lake . I only beat him once. He joined up the same time as me, but I’m only 5’6″ and 130 pounds and he’s 6’8″ and near 300 pounds dry. Be sure to tell Walt and Elmer to hurry and join before other fellers get onto this setup and come stampeding in.

When a 20-year veteran lost his life in the line of duty, many cops whose lives he had touched in some way or another came out to escort his daughter on her first day of kindergarten to honor him. It did not matter that the veteran had passed months before.

August 8, 2022, may have been an ordinary day for many people on planet earth; however, for Anna Stolinsky, it was a milestone. It was the very first day she would kick off her education by joining her kindergarten class.

Every parent hopes to be there to see such milestones, but Anna’s father, Police Lt. Kevin Stolinsky, could not make it this time. The proud father passed away in November 2021 after a medical emergency while he was at work.

Kevin Stolinsky was a veteran with more than two decades of experience in La Vergne. He had created memories, connections, bonds, and a family of his own in those years. So when he passed on, those lives he had touched while he was alive felt the loss.

He was an excellent man to most, but nobody will miss him more than his daughter Anna and her mother, Casey Stolinsky. After his death, his friends and family gathered together and gave him a big sendoff at his funeral.

Two gas company servicemen, a senior training supervisor and a young trainee, were out checking meters in a suburban neighbourhood. They parked their truck at the end of the alley and worked their way to the other end.

At the last house, a woman looking out her kitchen window watched the two men as they checked her gas meter. After finishing the meter check, the senior supervisor challenged his younger coworker to a foot race down the alley back to the truck to prove that an older guy could outrun a younger one.

As they came running up to the truck, They realized the lady from that last house was huffing and puffing right behind them.

They stopped and asked her what was wrong. Gasping for breath, she replied,

When I see two gas men running as hard as you two were, I figured I’d better run too!”

On the morning of her birthday, he got her up bright and early and off they went to a local theme park.What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear, everything there was! Wow!

Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park, her head reeling and her stomach upside down.

Right to a McDonald’s they went, where her husband ordered her a Happy Meal along with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake.Then, it was off to a movie – the latest Disney and what a fabulous adventure!Finally, she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed.

He leaned over and lovingly asked, “Well, dear, what was it like being six again?” Wearily, she raised her head, and said; “You idiot, I meant my dress size. ”The moral of this story is:When a woman speaks and a man is actually listening, he will still get it wrong.

Little Johnny and a little girl are playing.
Little Johnny pulls down his shorts and says,
“I have one of these and you don’t.”

The little girl starts crying and crying and runs home to her mother.

The next day Little Johnny and the girl are playing together again.

Once again Little Johnny points to his private parts and says,

“I have one of these and you don’t.”

But this time the little girl just keeps on playing.

How come you’re not crying today,” asks Little Johnny.

“My mother told me,” says the little girl, pulling up her dress,

“that with one of these, I can get as many of those as I want.”
